Property: Two-bedroom apartment
This gallery shows how I shoot a large apartment or smaller residential interior along with a larger house exterior because it is a two-family home.
Challenges
- Create a sense of flow that draws a viewer into and through the apartment from front to back giving a sense of layout and scale.
- Show the rich detail in dark wood and metal features while also capturing bright windows
Solutions
- I made images that, when properly ordered, move through the house much as one would at a showing.
- To capture details in the bright brights and dark darks altogether, I used flash and combined multiple ambient light images.
Results
- Property rented soon after the photos posted.
